After graduating from law school, Javier returned home to Miami where he began work with the Law Offices of Segredo & Weisz practicing primarily in real estate transactional law. Following two years working mainly with real estate matters, Javier moved back to Orlando where he was hired by the The Closing House, LLC, a real estate title company, in order to spearhead the inception of the same. After a year with the Closing House team, Mr. Vazquez was hired by the law firm of Barry L. Miller, P.A. in order to extend his real estate experience. Javier remained with the law firm of Barry L. Miller, P.A. for nearly 10 months, before moving westward to Tampa in order to join Edgar J. Guzman Law Group, P.A. Since joining the Firm in August of 2005, Javier has practiced primarily in the areas of real estate transactions and litigation, personal injury and workers compensation. In 2006, Javier helped create and now helps to administer Professional Law Group Title, Inc. (PLGT), which is the Firm’s settlement company.
During his tenure with the Firm, Javier has attended many social events and appeared in several mediums in order to educate the people regarding their many legal needs. Mr. Vazquez has played a critical role in the events Edgar J. Guzman Law Group has sponsored such as Flan Fest 2006, Fiesta Day 2006, Puerto Rican Parade, and A Day Without Immigrants. Javier is also a member of The National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals (NAHREP) and Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.
