Josselyn Ramirez was born in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico.  Josselyn was raised in Tampa, Florida by her mother.  Joy graduated from Hillsborough High School in 1995 and immediately began working in the legal field. 

After working eight years in the personal injury field, Joy took a position with a law firm that focused on commercial and construction litigation.  After working several years in this field, Joy decided to go back to the personal injury field.

In December 2005 she accepted a position with Edgar J. Guzman Law Group, P.A. where she currently supervises the Legal Case Management Department.  Joy enjoys working in the legal field and is certain that her experience coupled with the fact that she is bilingual will place her in a position to better serve the Tampa Hispanic community.
